Enter each contract (sign-on → sign-off). Real days are summed, multiplied by the official vessel-category coefficients (tankers +15.4%, foreign-currency cargo +11.1%, other ships +7.1%, sponge divers +50%) and converted with the correct conventions.

In August 2026 the whole legal engine was independently audited and corrected: the official e-EFKA circular's worked example (5,700 synthetic days = 19 years → 14.97%) is now reproduced exactly; replacement rates follow ν.4670/2020 Table 2 marginal bands; the fictional "retire at 55 with 40 sea-years" path was replaced with the real 62+40y path and the missing 7,920-day no-age-limit rule was added.
